Jacob Arabo, also known as "Jacob the Jeweler," is an American jewelry and watch designer who founded Jacob & Company in 1986. Born on June 3, 1965, he immigrated to the United States from the former USSR with his family, seeking a better life and opportunities. Starting his journey as a jewelry apprentice, Arabo's passion for timepieces grew, leading him to establish his own luxury brand, Jacob & Co.
The early days of Jacob & Co. were not without challenges. Arabo faced initial rejection from Swiss watch suppliers. However, his perseverance and innovative designs started gaining recognition, particularly through timepieces like the Five Timezone watch and the Quenttin, which captured the attention of celebrities and high-profile clients.
