First Look A Special UAE Edition of “The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone”

Jacob & Co. celebrates Dubai Watch Week 2025 with the unveiling of a UAE-exclusive edition of its iconic The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone, limited to just 50 pieces. This special release proudly features the UAE flag on its dial, housed in a stainless-steel case with a striking mix of blue and silver tones.

This exclusive edition retains the proportions of the original model, presented in a polished stainless-steel case measuring 43 mm in diameter and 14 mm in thickness. A domed sapphire crystal ensures a clear view of the intricately executed dial, while the caseback is adorned with a laser-engraved world map. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters. The crown offers three positions: manual winding, time-zone adjustment for the 6 o’clock sub-dial, and time setting for the 12 o’clock display.

The domed dial evokes an aerial view of Earth, centered on the Western Hemisphere. Crafted from blue PVD-coated titanium, it features finely engraved continents finished in silver. At the center, a compass rose displays the running seconds in a distinctive manner. The dual sub-dials indicate two independent time zones, with Roman numerals at 12 o’clock and Arabic numerals at 6 o’clock. For this UAE Special Edition, the national flag is printed on the Atlantic Ocean, adding a patriotic touch. The curvature of the dial required the hands to be angled at 12 degrees for optimal readability. 

As with previous editions, the watch is powered by the automatic JCAA14 caliber, developed in collaboration with Concepto. It features a central rotor, offers a 42-hour power reserve, and beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz). Its independently adjustable dual-time functionality is particularly valuable for global travelers, especially those navigating non-standard time offsets such as India’s GMT+5:30.
