Yema

Yema is a French brand born in 1948 through the visionary craftsmanship of Henry-Louis Belmont. A prodigy of the National Watchmaking School of Besançon in France, where he graduated as valedictorian in 1931, Belmont’s innovative spirit would shape the trajectory of modern watchmaking. He also cemented Yema’s reputation for crafting ultra-capable tool watches designed for extraordinary individuals undertaking extraordinary feats.

From the depths of the ocean to the racetrack and the frontlines, Yema’s creations have been good companions in extreme environments. Embodying its motto, “Time of Heroes,” the brand’s watches symbolize resilience and precision, earning a place in the annals of adventurers and professionals alike.

By 1962, Yema had evolved into YEMA INTERNATIONAL, asserting its global ambition. Just a few years later, between 1965 and 1968, the brand became France’s leading watch exporter, delivering 400,000 timepieces annually to over 55 countries. This achievement underscored Yema’s commitment to innovation, quality, and its enduring status as a trailblazer in horology.
