The French brand’s signature diver returns in a limited edition Titanium model
Few names are as closely tied to Yema as the Superman. Since its arrival in the late 1960s, the model has remained a constant in the French brand’s history, carrying forward a design language that has become instantly familiar to collectors of vintage and modern dive watches alike. Over time, it has grown into more than a signature reference.

That continuity is what makes the Superman such an effective foundation for new ideas. Yema has used the collection to explore different materials, updated mechanics, and new visual treatments while keeping the core design intact. The new Superman Titanium MoonTide CMM.11 follows that path in a measured way. It does not try to reinvent the model, but instead gives it a different character through a lightweight titanium construction.

The case measures 38.5mm in diameter and 11.3mm in thickness. It is made from Grade 2 titanium, a material that noticeably changes the wearing experience by reducing weight while preserving the solidity expected from a proper diver.
The familiar Superman architecture remains intact, now joined by a unidirectional ceramic bezel and Yema’s bezel-lock system. When the crown is screwed down, a small locking component sits against the bezel and helps prevent it from being moved accidentally. When the crown is unscrewed, the bezel can then be rotated normally to set dive timing. Once the bezel is in the right position, screwing the crown back down locks it again. Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire caseback, offering a view of the movement inside. Water resistance is rated at 300 metres.

The dial is executed in textured titanium, with a surface inspired by the moon and shaped through an oil-press process over a sandblasted base. The effect is subtle but distinctive, giving the dial a rugged, almost mineral depth that changes gently with the light. Against that surface, the black-plated hands and applied indices stand out clearly, both treated with Super-LumiNova BGW9 Grade A for low-light visibility. The date window is positioned at 6 o’clock.

It is powered by the manufacture calibre CMM.11, an automatic movement that continues the brand’s push toward a stronger in-house mechanical identity. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 70-hour power reserve.

The watch is available on Yema’s Grade 2 titanium Scales bracelet, a design that draws on the brand’s vintage dive watches and complements the case with a cohesive look and feel. It can also be ordered on an FKM rubber strap for a more casual and overtly sporty alternative. The watch is limited to 400 pieces, and the price is set at EUR 2,190, approximately AED 9,300, on the titanium bracelet, and EUR 1,890, approximately AED 8,000, on the rubber strap.
