Slimming down and redesigning the iconic Superman case
The French brand Yema has made its mark with timepieces designed to endure the harshest environments. This year, Yema takes a bold step forward with a notable shift towards slimmer designs, placing the spotlight on its ultra-thin movements, particularly showcased in the new Wristmaster collection, powered by the brand’s innovative micro-rotor caliber. Earlier this year, the brand released the limited edition Skin Diver Slim CMM.20, an elegant and durable dive watch also equipped with the same ultra-thin micro-rotor movement. Now, Yema introduces the Superman Gilt CMM.10 collection, reimagining the iconic Superman case with a slimmer, redesigned silhouette.
The new steel case, available in both 39mm and 41mm sizes, features refined proportions that enhance its overall design. Completely redesigned, the case has been subtly slimmed down and reworked to improve the thickness and emphasize the characteristic long lugs of this iconic model. The case measures 10.7mm thick (excluding the sapphire crystal), and combines brushed and polished finishes. It is equipped with a unidirectional bezel, available in green, black, or blue, and featuring a sapphire insert. The dial is protected by a 2.2mm double-domed sapphire crystal, while the screw-down crown and sapphire crystal-screwed caseback ensure an impressive 300-meter water resistance.

The dial is offered in green, black, silver, or dark blue, and all feature a sunray pattern with an elegant semi-gloss finish. Gilt is applied to the raised hour indices and hands, both of which are coated with Super-LumiNova.

The sapphire crystal case back showcases the CMM.10 Manufacture caliber, an automatic movement that beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and provides a 70-hour power reserve. It comes paired with a stainless steel slim bracelet, priced at USD 1,790, or AED 6,600.
