Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A limited edition inspired by the region’s golden desert landscapes
Zenith has always been driven by a spirit of progress, a mindset that was on full display in 1969 when the brand launched the Defy collection alongside the El Primero movement. At a time when the industry was heading toward the quartz crisis, the first Defy models were bold and almost over-engineered.
Today, the Defy family carries that legacy into a modern world shaped by sharp architecture and clean geometric lines. It is this contemporary identity that Zenith brings to the Middle East with a special version of the Defy Skyline Skeleton, created as a tribute to the region’s energy, its skylines, and its warmth.
The watch comes in a stainless steel case measuring 41mm in diameter and 12mm in thickness, defined by the Defy collection’s angular silhouette and its twelve-sided bezel. Its faceted surfaces are designed to capture and reflect light from every angle. A screwed-down crown and a solidly constructed caseback ensure a water-resistance rating of 100 meters.

The golden-tone skeleton dial is the visual highlight of the watch. It reveals the geometric structure of the movement beneath, framed by rhodium-plated, faceted indices coated with Super-LumiNova C1. The hands follow the same treatment for enhanced readability. At 6 o’clock, an Eastern Arabic small-seconds counter displays 1/10th of a second.

At the heart of the watch is the automatic El Primero 3620 SK, operating at a high frequency of 36,000 vph (5 Hz) and offering a power reserve of 60 hours.

The model is delivered with an integrated stainless steel bracelet along with a second black rubber strap decorated with a starry-sky pattern. This watch is limited to 100 pieces and is priced at CHF 11,900, approximately AED 55,000.
