Five Versions in Distinct Materials and Vibrant Colors
Zeitwinkel is an independent Swiss watchmaking brand. Founded in 2006, the brand's name which translates from German as “time angle” is inspired by the traditional method of calculating “true local time.” This concept serves as a constant reminder and motivation for the brand to craft watches that are as precise as possible. Each Zeitwinkel timepiece and movement is meticulously hand-assembled by skilled watchmakers in the brand’s manufactory located in Saint-Imier, within the Bernese Jura region of Switzerland. Now, we present to you the latest offering from Zeitwinkel, the 240° collection watch, available in different color variations.
The 240° watch case is crafted from stainless steel with a PVD treatment in a grey finish or DLC coating in black for the 240° NOIR watch, offering both durability and aesthetic appeal. With a diameter of 40.5mm and a thickness of 12.1mm, it features a sapphire crystal that protects the dial, while the screw-down crown, flanked by protective guards, ensures water resistance up to 100 meters. The case's bezel is made from the same material and is engraved with white numerals at 5-minute intervals, treated with Super-LumiNova for visibility in low light. The case back is secured with six screws and encased in a sapphire crystal for enhanced protection.
The dial of the Zeitwinkel watch is meticulously designed with a sunrays in the middle segment, creating a dynamic, radiant effect. Beneath the numerals, the structured area adds texture and depth, while the polished outer ring with minute markers enhances readability. The metal Arabic numeral appliques, crafted in the distinctive Zeitwinkel typeface, are filled with Superluminova for clarity in low light. The dial is available in several colors, including grey, orange, red, and blue, with a bold black option for the 240° NOIR watch. Pointed hands for the hour and minute, along with a needle-thin seconds hand, are coated with Superluminova, ensuring high visibility.
All watches are powered by the highly refined Zeitwinkel Caliber ZW0102, an automatic movement renowned for its precision and craftsmanship. This movement features a bidirectional winding rotor and boasts an impressive power reserve 72 hours. The movement is housed in elegant German silver, with the 240° NOIR version featuring a distinctive "Black Or" surface treatment. operated at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz). Impact resistance is provided by the Incabloc system. The movement’s beauty is matched by its finishing, chamfered and polished screws, cotes de Geneva stripes on the plate and balance cock, and meticulously polished edges all contribute to the movement's luxurious aesthetic.
The Zeitwinkel watches are paired with a caoutchouc strap, available in a range of vibrant colors including orange, black, blue, and red. The strap features subtle branding, with the Zeitwinkel logos embossed on the inside and the ZEITWINKEL lettering on the outside. The folding clasp is equipped with a PVD or DLC coating, ensuring both strength and a refined aesthetic. The clasp is also engraved with the Zeitwinkel logo, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design.
The Zeitwinkel timepieces are priced at CHF 15,900 equivalent to AED 70,000 for the models with colored dials and grey PVD finishes, while the Zeitwinkel 240° NOIR DLC version is available for CHF 17,200 equivalent to AED 75,700.
