Two bold releases that showcase the brand’s evolving creative identity
If you’re a regular reader of Waqt, you’ve likely encountered Vyntage Horology, a UAE-born brand founded by the Seddiqi family, whose 75-year legacy with Ahmed Seddiqi has been instrumental in shaping the region’s watch culture.
Positioned at the crossroads of Swiss craftsmanship and contemporary Middle Eastern design, Vyntage Horology embodies a dialogue between heritage and innovation. Each of its creations carries this dual spirit, merging the precision and tradition of Swiss watchmaking with the expressive Emirati culture. In just the past two years, the brand has captivated collectors with Grand Feu enamel dials, modern color palettes, and refined onyx dials that highlight its growing path.
The brand now introduces two captivating timepieces, the Monograph Pumpkyn and Purity Midnight, one bold and expressive, the other calm and refined, both rooted in technical mastery and artisanal finesse.
The Monograph Pumpkyn represents a vibrant evolution of Vyntage Horology’s signature chronograph line. Crafted from Grade 5 titanium, the case measures 40 mm in diameter and 14.2 mm in thickness, including sapphire crystals on both sides. The case features a polished and circular-brushed bezel, an onion-shaped crown, and a sapphire crystal caseback. The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters.
Its most striking feature is the orange sapphire dial, which radiates remarkable depth beneath polished silvered eastern arabic numerals and silver hands filled with Super-Luminova C1 X1 green luminescence. The dial layout includes a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock.
Inside beats a Swiss-made manual-winding, cam-actuated mono-pusher chronograph movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with a 48-hour power reserve. The movement is finished to the brand’s exacting standards, featuring radiant-polished edges, grey palladium surfaces, and golden inscriptions that add a touch of classic elegance.

The watch is fitted with a Lumières crocodile strap in gold interscale leather paired with a blue aquatic lining. It also comes with an additional black rubber strap for versatility. Both are secured by a Grade 5 titanium buckle engraved with the Vyntage logo. The price is upon request.
In contrast, the Purity Midnight expresses tranquility and balance. Its Grade 5 titanium case combines polished and brushed finishes, measuring 39 mm in diameter and 10.8 mm in thickness. The case is topped with a curved sapphire crystal that has an anti-reflective coating, and the crown is positioned at 4 o’clock. Like the Pumpkyn, it is water-resistant to 50 meters.
The sapphire dial transitions from transparent to deep black, forming a smooth gradient that evokes the serenity of midnight light. The polished silvered indices and hands are filled with Super-Luminova C1 X1. The dial also features a small seconds display at 7 o’clock.
At the heart of the watch lies a Swiss manual-winding movement with an impressive 90-hour power reserve. It operates at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and features the same hand-decorated details found in the Pumpkyn.
