Following its successful launch in DWW 2023, the brand now unveils two new pieces
Vyntage Horology is a new independent Emirati brand that entered the world of horology during Dubai Watch Week 2023. Drawing upon the expertise and leadership of the Seddiqi family, Vyntage Horology epitomizes distinctive techniques and craftsmanship. Following its successful initial launch of the Monograph and Purity, the brand now unveils the Purity Ivory and Monograph Ombré.
The Purity Ivory is an elegant timepiece that is crafted from stainless steel 904L, with a diameter of 39mm and a height of 10.8mm, the Purity Ivory strikes the balance between elegance and functionality. The curved sapphire crystal top, treated with an anti-reflective coating on the inside, protects the dial. Additionally, the flat sapphire crystal case back provides a glimpse into the intricate movement within. A unique feature in most Vyntage timepieces is the positioning of the crown at 4 o'clock, a design choice that adds a distinctive flair to the timepiece.

The watch's name is derived from its dial color, ivory (beige). Showcasing a beautiful hammered pattern and a small seconds sub-dial positioned at 7 o'clock, it exudes elegance. The silvered hands and Eastern Arabic domed applied indexes further enhance the dial's sophistication.

The watch is powered by a Swiss-made manual winding movement that operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz), offering a power reserve of 90 hours. It comes with a brown curved calf leather strap with beige side-stitching and a blue aquatic lining, featuring an easy-release mechanism. The strap is complemented by a brushed top and polished bottom stainless steel 904L buckle, engraved with the Vyntage logo. Additionally, the Purity Ivory includes an additional black matte rubber strap. The Purity Ivory is limited to 50 pieces, and priced at AED 23,900.
The Monograph Ombré, the second watch in this release, comes in a 40mm stainless steel 904L case, with a height of 14.2mm. The case features a curved sapphire crystal top, treated with anti-reflective coating on the inside, enhancing visibility while adding a touch of sophistication, along with a flat sapphire crystal case back.

The dial of the Monograph Ombré showcases a grained stamped smoked black to burgundy gradient, a striking color that embodies modern luxury. The dial features a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and a central 60-second chronograph hand, with silver applied hands and indexes.
The watch is powered by a Swiss-made manual winding movement, featuring a mono-pusher chronograph with Incabloc shock protection, ensuring reliability and precision. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 48 hours.

Our Technical Opinion
The latest editions of Vyntage Horology continue the company's successful journey after the distinguished launch at Dubai Watch Week 2023. The credit goes to the high-quality finishes and Swiss movements used by two big names with sufficient experience in the industry, La Joux Perret and Concepto. However, prices remain very competitive, offering excellent value for quality. The design and size of the watches are ideal elements of dress watches, and this reflects the contemporary trend of the brand.
