Three new releases in white or pink gold for Watches and Wonders 2024
The Patrimony collection is a lineage of elegance, passed down through generations, impervious to fleeting trends and styles. It's inspired by nature and adapts to the spirit of each era, particularly resonating with the 1950s modernity era. Vacheron Constantin seamlessly embodied this era's vitality with creations defined by graceful curves and striking slimness. Since its inception in 2004 with the first Patrimony model, the collection has embraced various watchmaking complications while upholding its distinctive aesthetics.
As Watches and Wonders opens its doors, Vacheron Constantin commemorates 20 years of innovation with the Patrimony collection by introducing three new models. These include two time only display variations available in either white gold or pink gold cases, along with a white gold model featuring moon phases and a retrograde date display.
Beginning with the dimensions of the two latest time-only display models, tailored to suit any wrist size. Upon initial inspection, the watches appear unchanged. However, the 40mm case, crafted in pink or white gold, now boasts a more classic 39mm diameter and 7.7mm thickness. As a final touch of customization, the closed caseback allows owners to personalize their watch with a text or design of their choosing, delicately engraved in gold.
This visual theme extends to the collection's hallmark convex dial, adorned with a newly introduced old-silver tone, adding a touch of vintage flair. This hue creates a striking contrast with the pink gold accents found on the slim hands, indices, and the circular 'pearl' minutes track comprising 48 polished 18K gold spheres.

Powering these timepieces is the manual-winding Caliber 1440, this in-house movement, mere 2.6mm thick, operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz), offering 42-hour power reserve. In addition to these stylistic refinements, the Mississippiensis alligator leather with calf inner shell straps now come in a new azure blue or olive-green hues, with an 18K white or pink gold pin buckle.
The third release, the Patrimony moon phase retrograde date, comes in a 42.5mm white gold case with a thickness of 9.7mm, featuring a transparent sapphire crystal caseback that allows a glimpse of the movement.
The newly introduced sunburst "old-silver-toned" hue subtly contrasts with the pink gold accents of the hands and hour-markers. Positioned in the upper portion of the dial is the retrograde date display, while the moon-phase indicator sits at 6 o'clock, calibrated to align precisely with the moon's cycle of 29 days, 12 hours, and 45 minutes. This exceptional accuracy ensures that the moon phase requires adjustment only once every 122 years.

Beneath the sapphire crystal caseback lies the in-house Caliber 2460 R31L, an automatic movement that offers 40 hours of power reserve and operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz), featuring an openworked 18K gold oscillating weight. The watch comes with a olive-green Mississippiensis alligator leather with a calf inner shell, with an 18K white gold pin buckle.
