A Case Redesign Elevates Its Dive Watches to Professional Standards
UNIMATIC expands its professional offering with the release of two new dive watches in the Modello Uno Pro Diver 600m series. Crafted in stainless steel, the models are available with either a black or blue dial, each paired with a matching ceramic bezel. Buyers can choose between a stainless steel bracelet or a color-coordinated TPU strap. In low-light conditions, the dials come vividly to life thanks to a two-tone Super-LumiNova display.
The new references, U1S-PD6-B and U1S-PD6-RB, mark a significant evolution for the brand, shifting from standard recreational dive watches to professional-grade instruments engineered for 600-meter depth ratings. Increasing water resistance from the baseline 200 meters to a robust 600 m necessitated substantial re-engineering of the external case architecture.
Both models are housed in a 41.5mm brushed stainless steel case featuring drilled lugs and a 120-click unidirectional safety bezel. The bezel incorporates a lume-infused ceramic insert, enhancing legibility in low-light and underwater conditions. A 3mm double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the signature 8mm “Alchemical Sun” screw-down crown, supported by high-quality gaskets, ensures uncompromising water resistance.
Each watch is individually tested for accuracy and water resistance to 600 meters, reinforcing its professional credentials.
The U1S-PD6-B presents a matte black dial, while the U1S-PD6-RB is distinguished by a reflex blue dial. Both models utilize a dual Super-LumiNova system, combining white and custom orange emissions to maximize contrast and ensure instant readability. A discreet date window positioned at 6 o’clock integrates seamlessly into the dial layout, preserving visual balance and clarity.
Powering both references is the Swiss automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). It features hacking seconds and delivers a power reserve of approximately 41 hours, with a manufacturer-stated accuracy tolerance of ±12 seconds per day.
The watches are supplied on two-piece quick-release TPU straps, black or blue to match the dial, fitted with brushed stainless steel hardware signed by UNIMATIC. Each reference is individually numbered and limited to 300 pieces. The models are delivered in a UNIMATIC tough case, accompanied by a warranty card bearing a unique ID seal. Both references are also available on a stainless steel bracelet, offering additional versatility.
The price is set at EUR 1,320 (approximately AED 5,720) on a strap, and EUR 1,420 (approximately AED 6,155) on a bracelet.
