Unimatic is an Italian watch brand founded in 2015 by industrial designers Giovanni Moro and Simone Nunziato. The brand is best known for its uncompromising approach to dive watches, offering robust, highly legible timepieces with minimalist aesthetics and professional-grade specifications. Several of its models have achieved water resistance ratings of up to 300 and 600 meters, solidifying Unimatic’s reputation in the realm of modern tool watches. Over the years, Unimatic has collaborated with respected partners such as Massena LAB, NASA, and FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano), producing limited edition models that combine technical precision with conceptual depth. These partnerships are selective, each reflecting a shared commitment to craftsmanship, heritage, or design innovation. Now, Unimatic adds a new milestone to its collaborative portfolio with the launch of the “Modello Quattro U4-GMT-MMC”, created in partnership with Morgan Motor Company. This release marks a refined fusion of British automotive heritage and Italian horological design.

The watch comes in Unimatic's iconic 40mm Modello Quattro case, crafted from solid 316L brushed stainless steel. Engineered for durability and depth, the watch offers 300 meters of water resistance, supported by a screw-down caseback, individually tested gaskets, and Unimatic’s signature Alchemical Sun screw-down crown with integrated guards. A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures optimal legibility in all conditions. The fixed monoblock bezel is acid-etched with a 24-hour scale — a subtle design element where recessed numerals and markers reveal themselves only as light moves across the surface.

The dial is finished in a sport blue glossy sunray, offering dynamic light play that shifts with movement. A discreet date window is positioned at 6 o’clock, maintaining dial symmetry without distraction. Time is indicated through a brushed stainless steel ladder-style phantom handset for hours and minutes, a reverse lollipop seconds hand with a matte white tip, and a dedicated 24-hour hand featuring a hollow arrow tip all treated with Super-LumiNova GL C1 for exceptional legibility in low light. A white printed minute track lines the outer edge of the dial, while glossy cool gray numerals and dial accents, custom-designed in collaboration with Morgan Motor Company, add a distinctive and refined visual signature.

The watch is powered by the automatic Seiko NH34A GMT caliber, operating at 21,600 vph (3Hz). It features a hacking seconds hand, bi-directional automatic winding, and manual winding capability. With a power reserve of over 42 hours and an accuracy range of –20 to +40 seconds per day, the NH34A ensures dependable timekeeping. A dedicated 24-hour hand enables precise tracking of a second time zone, making it a practical and versatile choice for both everyday wear and travel.

It comes with two Morgan leather quick-release straps in Biscuit Pebble and British Blue. The watch is a limited edition of 100 pieces and is priced at GBP 745, approximately AED 3,700.
