A Limited Edition Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the TimeZone Platform
Massena LAB and independent watchmaker Raúl Pagès join forces to celebrate the 30th anniversary of TimeZone. Massena LAB proudly announces its latest creation, a limited edition of only 30 pieces marking the first three decades of TimeZone.com: the TZ30 by Massena LAB and Raúl Pagès, featuring a hypnotizing blue dial, a 38.5 mm stainless steel case, and a proprietary movement designed by Massena LAB and Raúl Pagès.
The watch epitomizes Massena’s distinctive design language, a theme echoed in several of the brand’s collaborative models. Crafted by Massena LAB, the case features a refined vintage silhouette characterized by its iconic stepped bezel and an overall aesthetic reminiscent of the 1930s and 1940s. Constructed from durable 316L stainless steel, it measures a modest 38.5 mm in diameter and 10 mm in height (including the crystal), showcasing a harmonious blend of brushed and polished surfaces. The case is fitted with sapphire crystals on both sides and offers a water-resistance rating of 50 meters.
The vertically brushed dial creates a rich, dynamic texture that interacts beautifully with the light, revealing shades of blue ranging from deep indigo to vibrant cobalt. The baton indices are crisply plated in bright rhodium, offering excellent contrast against the dial. The minute track is punctuated with small rhodium-plated dots, while elegant feuille hands sweep above.
The dial follows an observatory-style layout, paying tribute to the Patek Philippe Ref. 2458, a pièce unique created in 1952 for collector Joe Ben “J.B.” Champion, Jr. The TZ30 is signed “Massena,” with small seconds at 9 o’clock and the inscription “Observatory Precision” at 3 o’clock, creating a pleasing sense of symmetry.
The watch's use of the initial Massena LAB proprietary movement marks a significant milestone. Developed under the expert guidance of Raúl Pagès, the Caliber M660 boasts a substantial hand-wound design. Operating at 4Hz, it offers a generous 60-hour power reserve. It features an impressive level of traditional hand-decoration, starting with the plate adorned with Côtes de Genève finishing, alongside hand-chamfered plates and bridges, exemplifying precision and craftsmanship.

Pagès’ hallmark “the poinçon Pagès” appears discreetly beneath the balance wheel in the form of a tortoise, paying homage to his celebrated tortoise automaton introduced in 2013. Surrounding the emblem is a field of overlapping perlage, completing the movement’s refined composition.

The watch is paired with a pebbled calfskin strap in a soft mocha tone with white stitching, handmade in Italy, and secured with a stainless steel pin buckle engraved with the Massena signature.

The TZ30 by Massena LAB and Raúl Pagès is a limited edition of 30 pieces, priced at USD 9,900, equivalent to 36,360 AED.
