Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A refined release highlighted by intricate dial textures and timeless design
Moritz Grossmann has long been admired for its commitment to Glashütte’s watchmaking traditions, blending classic craftsmanship with discreet innovation. Founded in 1854 and revived in 2008 by Christine Hutter, the German maison has established itself as a master of refinement and technical ingenuity. Among its most celebrated collections is the BENU, which in 2013 introduced the Power Reserve model, a hand-wound watch distinguished by its linear power reserve display.
In its latest release, the brand presents the BENU Power Reserve in rose gold or white gold cases, paired with a beautifully decorated dial. The case features tapering lugs and a crown fitted with Grossmann’s patented winder-and-pusher system. It measures 41 mm in diameter, 11.65 mm in thickness, and is equipped with sapphire crystals on both sides.

On the dial, the updates create a dynamic play of textures and light. For the first time, Moritz Grossmann combines its linear power reserve aperture with Azurage decoration, a delicate series of circular grooves adorning the chapter ring. Applied blue Arabic numerals and indices stand out against the argenté background, while the center displays a matte grained surface that contrasts elegantly with the smooth peripheral minute track. A small seconds sub-dial sits at 6 o’clock, and the in-house crafted hands, slightly bevelled and thermally blued, introduce a new shape that enhances the watch's elegance.
The watch is powered by the calibre 100.2, a manual-winding movement developed in-house. This evolution of the calibre 100.1 incorporates a differential gear to drive the power reserve indicator, alongside Grossmann’s signature cantilevered balance cock with micrometre screw, a separately removable winding module, and the optimised Grossmann balance. Beating at 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz), the movement delivers a 42-hour power reserve.

It is paired with a grey kudu leather strap with blue stitching, secured by a gold prong buckle that harmonises with the case material. The price is set at EUR 53,300, approximately AED 230,000.
