Marking the first-ever use of bronze in the Bvlgari Aluminium collection
In recent years, bronze has emerged as one of the most intriguing materials in watchmaking, and in 2025 the trend is gaining even greater momentum. Unlike steel or gold, bronze evolves with time, developing a natural patina that makes every watch unique to its wearer.
Bvlgari is not particularly known for using bronze in its watches, but the maison released its first bronze models as part of the Bvlgari Bvlgari collection in 2018. Today, on the occasion of Geneva Watch Days 2025, the brand expands its use of bronze with the first-ever introduction of the material in the Bvlgari Aluminium line. The collection debuts in two versions, the Bronzo GMT and the Bronzo Chronograph.
The Bronzo GMT features a 40 mm sandblasted bronze case with a thickness of 9.7 mm. A black rubber bezel engraved with “BVLGARI BVLGARI” defines the collection’s identity, while a sandblasted titanium crown with black DLC treatment and a matching titanium caseback add robustness. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters.

The matte black varnished dial is fitted with a central 24-hour disc featuring a day/night indicator for intuitive dual-time readability. White indices and rose gold-plated brass hands, including the GMT pointer, are sandblasted and filled with Super-LumiNova. A discreet date window sits at 3 o’clock.
Powering the watch is the automatic calibre B192, running at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with a 50-hour power reserve. It is paired with a black rubber strap featuring sandblasted bronze links and a bronze buckle with a hook-and-loop fastening system. This model joins the permanent collection, with pricing available upon request.
The Chronograph version comes in a 41 mm sandblasted bronze case, slightly larger than the GMT, with a thickness of 12.35 mm. It retains the bold black rubber bezel along with a sandblasted titanium crown and pushers coated in black DLC. Water resistance is likewise rated at 100 meters.

The matte black varnished dial is enriched with azuré circular chronograph counters and a tachymeter scale. Rose gold-plated brass hands, all sandblasted and luminescent, enhance the dial’s strong contrasts. The tri-compax layout is completed by a date window positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock.
This model is powered by the automatic calibre B381, which beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve. It is fitted with a black rubber strap with bronze links and a matching bronze buckle using the same hook-and-loop fastening system. Like the GMT, this watch joins the permanent collection, with pricing available upon request.
