Reviving the iconic orange barrel in a titanium case
Bremont has built its name on creating some of the most dependable tool watches in the world. Known for their rugged durability, aviation roots, and precision-driven British engineering, Bremont timepieces have become trusted companions for adventurers, military professionals, and watch enthusiasts alike.
A standout symbol of Bremont’s innovation is its collaboration with the legendary British ejection seat manufacturer Martin-Baker. This partnership, which began in 2007, gave rise to the MB collection, a line of pilot’s watches that undergo the same brutal testing as the ejection seats themselves. These include live ejection trials, extreme temperature simulations, vibration, and shock resistance, as seen in the MBIII Stealth Limited Edition. In its latest release, Bremont introduces the MB Meteor Orange Barrel.

The new MB Meteor revives the iconic orange knurled central barrel, a bold design element that originally helped define the MBII. The updated version now features an upgraded ceramic coating, developed in partnership with American ceramic coating specialist Cerakote, to deliver both enhanced durability and striking visual impact.

The case is crafted from Grade 2 titanium, featuring the collection's signature Trip-Tick construction. It is enhanced with the ceramic-coated orange barrel and includes protective elements such as an anti-shock movement mount and an inner soft iron ring for anti-magnetic resistance. The watch measures 42mm in diameter, 49.3mm lug-to-lug, and 12.23mm in thickness. It also features an open caseback that reveals the decorated rotor of the in-house modified movement, while still offering 100 meters of water resistance.
The dial is available in either silver or black with a brushed galvanic metal finish. Applied Arabic numerals and indices are coated with white Super-LumiNova that emits a blue glow. The inner Roto-Click bezel, operated via the crown at 4 o’clock, is finished in matte black to enhance legibility. The dial is completed with glossy black hour and minute hands, a black seconds hand with a red lollipop tip, and a date window at 3 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the BB14-AH automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offering a 68-hour power reserve. Buyers can choose between several configurations: a titanium bracelet priced at EUR 5,950 (approximately AED 25,250), a black rubber and leather strap, or a black and anthracite NATO strap, both priced at EUR 5,500 (approximately AED 23,350).
