A refined trio combining elegant new dials with the strength and lightness of titanium
Tutima Glashütte was founded in 1927 by Dr. Ernst Kurtz, the German manufacture was born in the heart of Glashütte, where precision and craftsmanship defined an entire watchmaking culture. The name “Tutima,” derived from the Latin tutus meaning “safe” or “protected,” was once reserved for the most reliable and finely crafted watches.
This year, with the launch of the new Patria Titanium line, Tutima introduces a refined trio that perfectly embodies the brand’s evolution. The watch is housed in a case crafted entirely from Grade 5 titanium, polished to a fine sheen. Its lightweight construction ensures comfort on the wrist while maintaining exceptional durability and skin-friendliness. Measuring 41 mm in diameter and 11.2 mm in thickness, the case features an ergonomically shaped, fluted crown framed by a curved flank protection that enhances both aesthetics and functionality. A domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating safeguards the dial beneath, while the sapphire crystal caseback offers a clear view of the in-house movement, showcasing the detailed hand-finishing that defines Tutima’s craft. The case is water-resistant to 50 meters.

The dial captivates with a pyramid motif that plays beautifully with light and shadow, adding depth and texture to the design. A finely grooved circle traces the path of the small seconds at 6 o’clock, while a slim minute track frames the display. The indices and manually finished hands are filled with white luminous material that glows blue in the dark, ensuring legibility in any setting. Three variations are available: anthracite, graphite gray, and silver white.
Powering the watch is the hand-wound Tutima Calibre 617, a movement developed and assembled in Glashütte from 171 individual components. Beating at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz), it offers a power reserve of 65 hours.

Each model is completed with a hand-sewn strap made of either calfskin or sheepskin, secured by a titanium pin buckle. The new Patria Titanium models join Tutima’s permanent collection, priced at €8,600 (approximately AED 36,700).
