The First Yellow Gold Case in the Iconic Escale Collection
Louis Vuitton continues to expand its exploration of stonework in fine watchmaking with the new Escale Tiger’s Eye. Following the 2025 introduction of turquoise and malachite models in platinum, this latest creation limited to just 30 pieces, adds a new dimension to the House’s pursuit of artisanal savoir-faire and natural beauty, while subtly evoking the romantic spirit of the Art of Travel. The Escale’s design remains rooted in the visual language of Louis Vuitton’s iconic trunks.
The 40 mm case showcases the Escale’s distinctive trunk-inspired architecture, now realised through a seamless, monolithic case ring crafted from tiger’s eye, which also forms the dial. The lugs, bezel, case back, and crown are rendered in yellow gold, marking the first time this precious metal has been used within the Escale collection. The result is a luminous dialogue between mineral and metal, with the warm tones of the stone enhanced by the soft glow of gold.
Slim and elegantly proportioned, the case underscores the watch’s refined character, measuring just 8.97 mm in thickness without the crystal and 10.34 mm when fitted with a domed sapphire glass. Treated with an anti-reflective coating, the crystal ensures optimal legibility while reinforcing the watch’s understated sophistication. Turning the watch over reveals an open case back, framed by a white-gold plate engraved “1 of 30,” subtly emphasizing the exclusivity of this limited edition. Completing the package, the case offers water resistance to 30 meters.
Cherished since antiquity for its captivating golden-brown hues, tiger’s eye enriches the Escale with a new chromatic depth. Its fibrous bands of ochre, bronze, and sienna shimmer with optical vitality, evoking ripples of desert light or the grain of sun-burnt wood. This distinctive appearance results from a geological metamorphosis driven by heat and pressure, transforming raw elements into a mineral of remarkable beauty. Each stone selected for the Louis Vuitton Escale Tiger’s Eye is carefully chosen for its harmony of tone and movement, with chatoyant layers creating an intricate interplay of light and matter.
Framing the dial is a subtly tilted, satin-finished flange that adds depth and architectural definition to the display. Time is indicated by 18-carat yellow gold hour and minute hands, whose warm sheen contrasts elegantly with the stone dial, while a lightweight titanium seconds hand, treated with a PVD coating, introduces a contemporary technical accent. Applied 18-carat yellow gold indexes complete the composition, reinforcing the watch’s luxurious character while ensuring clarity and balance.
Powering the Escale is the Caliber LF023, the same automatic movement used in previous Escale editions. Chronometer-certified and developed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton in collaboration with Le Cercle des Horlogers, it operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. The movement is further distinguished by an engraved 22-carat rose gold micro-rotor.

The Louis Vuitton Escale Yellow Gold and Tiger’s Eye is paired with a Savannah brown Saffiano calf leather strap, lined with black calf leather and secured by an 18-carat yellow gold pin buckle engraved with the Louis Vuitton signature. Limited to 30 pieces, Priced at 46,500 CHF Which is equivalent to 213,750 AED.
