Ulysse Nardin Unveils the Special Diver Air Seddiqi Edition in Vibrant Blue
To commemorate its 75th anniversary, Ahmed Seddiqi, the leading luxury watch retailer in the region, has partnered with the Swiss watchmaking Maison Ulysse Nardin to unveil a special limited edition of the world’s lightest mechanical dive watch — the Diver Air Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition. Limited to just 30 pieces, this exclusive creation reinterprets Ulysse Nardin’s groundbreaking innovation with personalized vibrant blue details that reflect Ahmed Seddiqi’s heritage and contemporary identity.
To achieve the Diver Air’s record weight of just 52 grams, including the strap, materials were carefully optimized and reduced across the movement and case, ensuring the watch’s performance and reliability remain uncompromised.
Crafted with a strong focus on sustainability, the case exemplifies modern material innovation. The 44 mm middle case is made from 90 percent recycled titanium, offering both strength and lightness. Its side components are constructed from Nylo-Foil, a composite of 60 percent recycled fishing nets and 40 percent upcycled carbon fibre, showcasing the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Completing the design, the concave rotating bezel is crafted entirely from upcycled carbon fibre, while the watch maintains a balanced profile with a thickness of just 14.70 mm.
Despite its robust construction, the watch remains water-resistant to 200 metres, meeting the stringent standards of professional dive watches while maintaining exceptional lightness and impact resistance.
The open mineral glass caseback reveals the skeletonised calibre, bearing a personalised 75th Anniversary transfer — a subtle yet meaningful tribute to Seddiqi’s milestone year.
The vibrant blue skeleton dial, adorned with rhodium-coated indices and black hands enhanced by blue Super-LumiNova, embodies both Seddiqi’s 75-year heritage and Ulysse Nardin’s mastery of contemporary design. Every element, from the dial and crown protectors to the Super-LumiNova on the second hand, indexes on the CarbonFoil bezel, elastic strap, and side plate — is dressed in the same distinctive blue tone, giving the watch a striking and unified visual identity.

At its heart beats the in-house UN-374 calibre, a Manufacture movement constructed in 90 percent recycled titanium. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), it offers an impressive 90-hour power reserve. Technical highlights include a flying mainspring barrel that reduces weight without compromising performance, a silicon escapement that’s both antimagnetic and 50% lighter than traditional designs, and a triangular bridge structure providing rigidity despite the extreme skeletonisation. Remarkably, the entire movement weighs just 7 grams, representing a reduction of more than half compared to the calibre in the previous Diver X Skeleton model — and it withstands shocks of up to 5,000 g, despite being 80% “air”.
The watch is delivered with two straps: a vibrant blue elastic fabric strap with a scratch closure, and a white rubber strap fitted with a black ceramic and black PVD titanium folding clasp.
The Ulysse Nardin Diver Air Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition is a limited edition of 30 pieces, available exclusively through Ahmed Seddiqi.
