Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
An elegant release with a beautiful hue
Tutima was founded in 1927 and is well known for its robust pilot’s chronographs and military instrument watches. Yet its modern catalogue reveals a broader ambition. Alongside its aviation roots, Tutima has developed a direction that follows the traditions of Saxon watchmaking, emphasizing traditional mechanics, restrained aesthetics, and in-house movements produced in Glashütte.

That philosophy is embodied in the Patria collection, a line introduced as part of the brand’s return to Glashütte in the early 2010s. Designed as a classical counterpoint to Tutima’s sportier instrument watches, the collection focuses on clean case architecture, hand-wound manufacture calibres, and finishing techniques associated with the region’s long watchmaking heritage. The latest addition to the collection introduces a light blue dial.

The new watch arrives with a 41 mm case measuring 11.2 mm in thickness. It is crafted from polished Grade 5 titanium, a material chosen for its strength and low weight while maintaining an elegant finish that reflects light across the curved surfaces of the case. On the reverse side, a sapphire exhibition caseback reveals the movement while ensuring water resistance of 50 meters.

The dial introduces a soft light blue tone that immediately changes the personality of the watch. Its surface features a three-dimensional pyramid pattern that interacts with light to create shifting reflections and subtle depth. Time is displayed through hand-polished hands filled with Super-LumiNova for improved legibility, applied diamond-cut indices, and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the manufacture Calibre 617. This manual-winding movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 65 hours. The watch is paired with a graphite-grey sheepskin leather strap secured by a titanium pin buckle. This model is priced at €8,600, approximately AED 36,500.
