Expanding the collection with new colors and movements
In 2013, Charlotte Paulin founded the Scottish brand in the heart of Glasgow, with a vision to create watches that were as vibrant as they were distinctive. Over the years, Paulin became known for its bold, colorful designs, resonating with a growing audience of watch enthusiasts seeking something different. In 2023, to mark a decade of innovation, Paulin embarked on an exciting new chapter as anOrdain, another distinguished Scottish watchmaker, acquired the brand, setting the stage for a new era. Under the guidance of anOrdain's founder, Lewis Heath, and his wife, Charlotte Paulin, the brand reemerged with a refreshed vision.
The first step in this new chapter came with the launch of the Modul collection in 2023, a collection that not only showcased the brand's creativity but also symbolized its ambitious plans for the future. This year, Paulin is expanding the collection with the D and E models, available in two case sizes and featuring different types of movements.
The watch is housed in a stainless steel case topped with a hesalite box crystal and features a push/pull crown and a transparent caseback. The automatic variant measures 39mm in diameter and 9.7mm in thickness, while the hand-wound version is slightly smaller, with a 35mm diameter and 8.2mm thickness ( just like the quartz variant).

The Modul D features a sleek black lacquer dial, while the Modul E showcases a brushed rhodium dial. If you opt for the automatic variant, you'll get a classic time-only display with three central hands. On the hand-wound version, the time-only layout remains simple but with the addition of a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. Both variants have hands and indices coated with Super-Luminova for enhanced legibility in low light.
The automatic variant is powered by the La Joux Perret G101 movement, which operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and provides a 68-hour power reserve. In contrast, the hand-wound variant is driven by the ETA 7001 movement, which operates at 21,600 vph (3Hz) and offers a 45-hour power reserve. The watches are paired with a stainless steel mesh bracelet or a selection of straps made from various materials. The automatic variant is priced at AED 3,641, while the hand-wound variant is available for AED 4,006.
