Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

A refined oval dress watch with a bold hue
Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil was founded in 1976 during one of the most turbulent periods in modern watchmaking. The brand built its identity around a close relationship with music and the performing arts, translating that cultural influence into refined timepieces designed with balance and elegance in mind.

Within the brand’s catalogue, the Toccata line represents one of its most enduring expressions of traditional elegance. Named after a musical form known for its expressive and flowing character, the collection has spent decades exploring slim dress watches defined by clean lines and timeless proportions. More recently, Raymond Weil revisited this line with the Toccata Heritage series, a contemporary interpretation that draws inspiration from the oval shaped watches of the 1970s. The latest addition to the collection introduces a striking red grape dial that brings a richer personality to the watch.

The watch is built around an oval case that immediately sets it apart from the brand’s more conventional round designs. Crafted from polished stainless steel and finished with a rose gold PVD coating, the case measures 33 mm in width and 38 mm in length, proportions that remain compact and elegant on the wrist. With a thickness of only 6.95 mm, the watch retains a particularly slim profile that allows it to sit comfortably under a cuff, as expected from a classic dress watch. The watch features a screwed caseback fitted with a sapphire crystal and provides water resistance of 30 meters.

The dial comes in a sunrayed red grape tone, creating shifting reflections that enhance the depth of the colour. It displays polished rose gold-coated dauphine hands with redesigned counterweights and applied indices.

The watch is powered by the manual-winding calibre RW4100. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 45 hours. It comes with either a stainless steel bracelet with rose gold PVD coating that closes with a folding clasp, or a black leather strap.

This new version joins the permanent collection and is priced at EUR 1,750, approximately AED 7,500 on a leather strap, or EUR 1,850, approximately AED 8,000 when fitted with the bracelet.
