New colors inspired by depths of glaciers and the clouds of the cold season
First launched in 2019, the "Weekend" collection from Perrelet is a testament to timeless style, emphasizing classic and elegant design elements with modern-retro style. This line includes three distinct watch models: the "3-Hands”, the "GMT," and the "3-Hands Open Heart”.
The collection offers a diverse selection of styles, catering to various tastes. Wearers can choose from elegant black leather straps paired with either silver-tone or rose-gold-colored cases, or opt for a more contemporary look with the stainless steel version complemented by a matching steel-link bracelet. The collection already boasted an array of dial colors including black, blue, silver, and green. The latest additions to this collection elevate the aesthetic further with stunning ice blue dials, perfectly harmonized with stainless steel cases, adding a fresh and modern touch to the series.
The collection comes in a brushed and polished case measuring 39 mm in diameter and 9.56 mm in thickness, each topped with a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating and a mineral glass case back. It includes a brushed, domed ice blue dial with a radiant sunray pattern and elegantly applied indices. The '3-Hands' model displays time and a date window at 3 o’clock, while the 'GMT' model enhances this display with a central GMT hand, highlighted by a red luminescent triangular tip, and a second time zone displayed on a 24-hour scale, on a brushed dial ring featuring Arabic numerals. The '3-Hands Open Heart' model offers a time-only display and is distinguished by a circular opening at 6 o’clock that reveals the balance-wheel, adding a unique touch to its design.
Each model in this collection is powered by an automatic manufacture movement, exclusively crafted by SOPROD. Delving into specifics, the '3-Hands' model is powered by the Perrelet calibre P-321 with a solid oscillating weight that is decorated with vertical engraved grooves and Perrelet logo in the centre, while the and the '3-Hands Open Heart' model is powered by the Perrelet calibre P-391 it features an open-worked and rhodium-plated oscillating weight with Perrelet logo, both movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers 42-hours of power reserve. In contrast, the Weekend GMT is equipped with the calibre P-401. While it shares some technical characteristics as the P-321 and the P-391, the P-401 adds the capability to display two different time zones, making it an ideal choice for travelers.
The watches come with a midnight blue calfskin strap, elegantly embossed with an alligator motif, enhancing the luxurious feel of the watch; it also features a pin buckle with the Perrelet logo. For those who prefer a more classic and robust look, Perrelet also provides an option of a stainless-steel bracelet, particularly for the steel case variant.
