JC Biver continues to explore new horizons of dial elegance
Jean-Claude Biver launched his brand in 2022, presenting a unique approach to watchmaking evident in his singular collection. Each timepiece is a masterpiece, with only one of its kind in existence. From the inaugural piece, Catharsis, brimming with distinctive innovation, to subsequent creations like the Dance of Time for Mexico and the latest for the Doha exhibition, Biver's watches showcase unparalleled creativity.
What unites these timepieces is the exquisite minute repeater carillon tourbillon, but it is the artistry of the dial that truly defines Biver's creations. Returning with the final installment of his initial fifty-piece series, the Carillon Tourbillon Minute Repeater, launched just a year ago, Biver introduces the last ten pieces, each a testament to the mastery of dial craftsmanship. The Maison pays homage to this artistry by offering two original dial options, exemplifying Biver's dedication to pushing the boundaries of horological excellence.

The case comes in Grade 5 titanium for the mother of pearl version and rose gold for the black obsidian version. In both designs, the case dimensions remain the same, with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 13.70 mm. The crown features the JCB logo. Both the front and back are protected by sapphire crystal, ensuring durability and clarity.
The first dial, crafted from black obsidian, creates a striking contrast with the warm preciousness of the rose gold case. The second, in mother-of-pearl, enhances the elegant simplicity of the titanium version.
The dial is adorned with exquisite details, A notable characteristic of these new dials is their two-part construction: the periphery with the pad-stamped minute track is polished, while the central area is adorned with intricate guillochage. Adding a touch of opulence, baguette-cut diamonds are elegantly applied around the dial, complemented by the logo and hands crafted from either white gold or rose gold. Positioned prominently at 6 o'clock is the tourbillon, with a triple hand precisely tracking the seconds, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and technical prowess of the timepiece.
