Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

Two limited editions inspired by Hong Kong’s Bauhinia flower
Watch Ho & Co is a Hong Kong–based enthusiast club built around regular meet-ups and conversation. From its earliest days, the club positioned itself as an open platform where collectors could connect through shared interests. That community-driven approach is reflected in the Jui, a collaborative watch created with microbrand Selten to mark the club’s second anniversary.

The Jui Bauhinia follows that original collaboration and builds directly on its foundations. Rather than altering the architecture that made the first Jui successful, the Bauhinia edition shifts the emphasis toward colour and material. It takes inspiration from Hong Kong’s Bauhinia flower, introducing new mother-of-pearl dials as the defining visual element.

The case remains made from stainless steel, finished with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. It measures 39 mm in diameter and 9.95 mm in thickness. Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire exhibition caseback, offering a clear view of the movement inside. Water resistance is rated at 50 metres.

The dial is cut from a natural white mother of pearl and tinted in either pink or purple. Light plays across the surface, shifting between soft pastel tones and deeper, more saturated colour depending on the angle. This effect is amplified by a CNC-machined geometric pattern that adds depth and structure. Skeletonised sword-shaped hands, heat-treated to blue or purple, are paired with a small Chinese character at 2 o'clock which serves as a subtle marker carried over from the previous release.

Power comes from the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with a 42-hour power reserve. The watch is fitted with a HasNoBounds hand-stitched FKM sailcloth strap, colour-matched to each dial variant and secured with a steel pin buckle.
Production is limited to 200 pieces per color, with pricing set at USD 1,250, approximately AED 4,600.
