Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A limited sport watch with a beautiful Iron Tiger stone dial
Over the past few years, Venezianico has been steadily reshaping its position within the market. What began as a successful Kickstarter microbrand has gradually evolved into a more confident and increasingly independent Italian manufacturer. This shift became particularly evident throughout 2024 and 2025, when the brand began elevating its horological credentials, moving away from a purely outsourced movement strategy and introducing its own V5000 calibre. That moment marked more than a technical milestone, it signalled a new chapter in the brand’s journey.

This evolution is now clearly reflected across Venezianico’s recent releases. There is a noticeable refinement in execution, not only in the movements but also in the overall sense of identity and the growing maturity in how materials and design are approached. The progress feels deliberate, carrying genuine promise for what lies ahead.

The Nereide collection remains the backbone of Venezianico’s lineup. Designed as a robust, water-ready platform, it provides the structural discipline required for more adventurous use. Within this collection, the brand has explored expressive materials and stone dials, including green malachite, turquoise opaque gemstone, and several other natural variations. In its latest release, Venezianico introduces the Nereide Chimera, a limited edition distinguished by its striking Iron Tiger stone dial.

The case measures 42 mm in diameter with a total thickness of 12.5 mm. Crafted from 316L stainless steel, it strikes a balance between durability and presence that suits the collection’s sport-oriented character. On the reverse, a sapphire exhibition caseback reveals the movement inside, while water resistance is rated at 200 metres.

The dial is cut from Iron Tiger stone, a natural composite formed by tiger’s eye, red jasper, and hematite. These elements come together in a layered surface where deep reds, dark veining, and metallic highlights shift constantly with the light. No two dials are alike, each shaped by the natural structure of the stone itself. Luminous hands and applied indices ensure legibility, while a date window sits at 3 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with a power reserve of 38 hours. The movement is paired with a skeletonised rotor, finished with radial Côtes de Genève and treated with a red gold-toned galvanic coating.
The watch is fitted with a dark red FKM rubber strap that complements the dial’s tones. Production is limited to 500 pieces, with pricing set at €1,295, approximately AED 5,700.
