For the first time, Vacheron adds a red dial to the Overseas tourbillon collection
The Overseas collection has become Vacheron Constantin’s most progressive line. What began as a refined take on the integrated sports watch has evolved into a platform capable of hosting serious high-complication watchmaking. Over the years, the collection has absorbed modern materials, slimmer constructions, and increasingly ambitious movements, all while retaining the clarity and balance that define the Overseas identity.

At the top of that hierarchy sits the Overseas Tourbillon. It represents a rare intersection where integrated sports-watch architecture meets a fully fledged tourbillon regulator. Today, following the titanium release with a blue dial, the brand introduces a new dial execution, marking the first time a deep red colour has been applied to the Overseas Tourbillon.

The case measures 42.5 mm in diameter and 10.39 mm in thickness and is executed entirely in grade 5 titanium. This material choice results in reduced weight and increased resistance to wear, lending the watch a noticeably lighter presence on the wrist. The Maltese cross inspired bezel anchors the design, while alternating brushed, sandblasted, and polished finishes give the case its distinctive architectural character. A sapphire crystal caseback reveals the movement inside, with water resistance rated at 50 metres.

The dial is finished in a deep red tone and combines a sunburst central surface with a velvet-finished flange, creating depth without overwhelming the layout. The hands and applied indices are crafted from 18K white gold and filled with blue Super-LumiNova, offering strong contrast and clear legibility. The tourbillon is prominently displayed at the 6 o’clock position.

Inside beats the manufacture calibre 2160, an ultra-thin automatic tourbillon movement developed specifically for the Overseas collection. Operating at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz), the movement delivers an 80-hour power reserve. Its defining feature is the peripheral rotor, which allows the movement to remain fully visible while contributing to an exceptionally slim profile of just 5.65 mm.

The watch is delivered with an integrated grade 5 titanium bracelet, as well as a deep red and white rubber strap. It joins the permanent collection, with pricing available upon request.
