Introducing The New Tudor Royal in Blue

Tudor was established to deliver Swiss-made precision, durability, and style at a more accessible price than its sibling brand, Rolex. Over the decades, models like the Pelagos and Black Bay have accompanied explorers, divers, and adventurers into some of the harshest environments on Earth.

In 2020, Tudor introduced the Royal collection, embodying its sport-chic identity with integrated bracelets, meticulous finishing, and a balance of casual versatility and classic sophistication. The collection draws inspiration from the brand’s 1950s and 1960s designs while embracing modern manufacturing, offering a seamless fusion of past and present.

This year, the brand expands the Royal line with two new 28mm releases crafted from 316L stainless steel, available in either full steel or a two-tone steel and yellow gold configuration. The case combines polished and brushed surfaces and is topped with a diamond-set bezel. A screw-down crown and caseback ensure water resistance to 100 metres, while a sapphire crystal provides scratch resistance and clarity.

The rich blue dial is accented by diamond-set applied indices and Roman numerals, with a date window at 3 o’clock. Baton-style hands coated in Grade A Super-LumiNova ensure optimal legibility in low light.

Powering the watch is the Calibre T201, an automatic movement operating at 28,800 vph (4Hz) with a 38-hour power reserve. Completing the design is Tudor’s signature integrated five-link bracelet, offered entirely in stainless steel or with alternating yellow gold links for the two-tone model, secured by a folding clasp.

The stainless steel version is priced at USD 4,225 / AED 16,100, while the steel and yellow gold variant retails for USD 5,900 / AED 22,460.
