Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

A new divers watch with a green dial and a yellow gold bracelet
This year, Tudor introduced a few additions to the iconic Black Bay collection, including an unexpected pink dial and the Black Bay 58 GMT with a stunning burgundy and black bezel. We also saw an array of releases from Tudor's sister brand Rolex, such as the Deepsea in yellow gold, which was an unexpected launch that received mixed reviews and opinions. However, this wasn't the only gold diver watch from both brands, as Tudor released the Black Bay 58 in 18K yellow gold also.
18K gold is a heavy metal, which opens up another topic considering that serious dive watches are typically made from non-precious metals like stainless steel and titanium, leading to an interesting conversation about diver watch materials. The case maintains the same size as other Black Bay 58 models, with a 39mm diameter and a 12.7mm thickness. It features a unidirectional rotatable bezel in 18K yellow gold, with a 60-minute graduated disc in matte green anodized aluminum, along with gold-gilded markings and numerals.

The watch weighed 193 grams, making it the heaviest Tudor watch in the collection. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, while the movement can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back, which ensures a water resistance of 200 meters.

The green dial features indices and Tudor's iconic snowflake hands in 18k yellow gold. The watch is powered by Manufacture Caliber MT5400, an Automatic COSC certified movement with a bidirectional rotor system providing 70 hours of power reserve. The watch is paired with a 3-link 18k yellow gold bracelet with satin finish, yellow gold “T-fit” clasp, and priced at AED 126,900.
