Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
An elegant perpetual calendar in a rose gold case and a beautiful brown dial
Hermès' horological identity is rooted in elegance, clarity, and creativity, shaped by a steadfast commitment to craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics. The Slim d’Hermès collection is a prime expression of this philosophy. Introduced in 2015 as both a time-only and a perpetual calendar model, the line was conceived to showcase pure, understated elegance.

Over the years, the Slim d’Hermès has become a canvas for the maison’s vision of minimalist sophistication, supported by designers and movement specialists who helped define its distinct personality. In its latest release, the brand returns to the perpetual calendar with the new Slim d’Hermès Quantième Perpétuel, presented in a luxurious rose gold case paired with a brown dial.

The watch features a 39.5mm case with a thickness of 9.05mm. Its polished surfaces highlight the clean geometry of the collection, while a pusher at 4 o’clock adjusts the second time zone in one-hour steps. A sapphire crystal caseback reveals the movement, and the watch offers a water resistance of 30 meters.

The dial is rendered in galvanic brown with a brushed chapter ring carrying the airy Arabic numerals created by French graphic designer Philippe Apeloig. Four sub-dials organise the perpetual calendar: the date at 12 o’clock, a moon phase at 3 o’clock featuring a mother-of-pearl moon set against a blue aventurine sky, the month and leap year at 9 o’clock, and the second time zone at 6 o’clock, displayed using scrambled numerals on a white background. A small day-night indicator sits between the moon phase and GMT counters. Gilded baton hands for the hours and minutes complement the warmth of the case.

Inside is the Hermès H1950 movement, an ultra-thin automatic calibre developed by Vaucher and equipped with a perpetual calendar module. The base movement is 2.6mm thick, with the module adding an additional 1.4mm. It operates at 21,600 vph (3Hz) and delivers a 48-hour power reserve. Through the caseback, the micro-rotor and hand-finished bridges decorated with the signature “H” motif can be admired.
The watch is paired with an Hermès Havana alligator strap and joins the permanent collection at a price of CHF 39,550, approximately AED 180,700.
