Four stunning references with sporty and bold dials
Since 1963, Seiko 5 Sports has been the go-to collection for accessible, reliable automatic watches. While the line has taken many forms over the decades, one model towers above the rest in cult status: the SKX007, first introduced in 1996 as part of Seiko's diver watch series. Now, in 2025, Seiko expands the collection once again with four new references.

The case is crafted from stainless steel, measuring 42.5mm in diameter and 13.9mm in thickness. It features a crown at 4 o’clock, a glossy glass insert on the bezel gives the watch a sleeker silhouette on the wrist, while a curved Hardlex crystal protects the dial. Flip the watch over and you'll find a screw-down exhibition caseback that reveals the movement and ensures water resistance up to 100 meters.

All four references feature sportier colors and a more refined application of classic elements: rectangular indices, LumiBrite-coated hands, and a day-date display at 3 o'clock. The black and blue dial variants include a pop of red in the "Automatic" script, while the orange and yellow versions opt for black text.

Powering the watches is the in-house automatic calibre 4R36, which operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz) and delivers a 41-hour power reserve.

Two strap options are available: the SRPL87 (yellow) and SRPL89 (orange) come fitted with a comfortable silicone strap, while the SRPL83 (blue) and SRPL85 (black) pair the case with a stainless steel bracelet. All four references will be available starting June 2025, with prices set at EUR 400, approximately AED 1,700 for the silicone strap versions and EUR 440, approximately AED 1,820 for the bracelet models.
