A tribute to the upcoming 2025 Le Mans Classic race
Richard Mille has gained a cult following for its extreme performance, technical innovation, and uncompromising approach to materials, a philosophy that mirrors the world of endurance racing. Nowhere is this connection more evident than in the brand’s long-standing partnership with the Le Mans Classic, a biennial tribute to automotive excellence held at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe in France. Following the RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic released two years ago, Richard Mille now unveils the RM 30-01 Le Mans Classic for the 12th edition of the event, taking place from July 3 to 6, 2025.
The watch combines lightweight performance with motorsport-inspired colors. The case measures 42mm in diameter and 14.2mm in thickness, constructed with titanium bezels surrounding a vivid Green Quartz TPT caseband. The sapphire crystal caseback features the official Le Mans Classic logo, directly tying the watch to the historic event. It offers water resistance up to 50 meters.
The skeletonised dial echoes the layout of a racetrack, with bold architectural lines and mechanical transparency. At 5 o’clock, a chequered flag motif frames the large date window, while racing-inspired green and orange accents elevate the design. The green “16” on the 24-hour subdial is a nod to the 4 PM race start, known as the “green flag.”

Powering the watch is the Calibre RMAR2, an automatic movement now modified to include the 24-hour counter. This in-house movement features a detachable rotor that disengages once the barrel is fully wound, helping preserve consistent torque. A clutch engagement indicator at 11 o’clock shows whether the rotor is active, while a function selector at 3 o’clock allows the wearer to switch between winding, date, and time adjustment. The movement runs at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and provides a 55-hour power reserve.
The watch is paired with a racing-vented green rubber strap and is limited to just 150 pieces, priced at CHF 220,000, approximately AED 1,000,000.
