Introducing The New Piaget Ultimate Concept Tourbillon & Altiplano 910P in Khaki Green

For more than sixty years, Piaget has been a pioneer in the art of ultra-thin watchmaking. The journey began in 1957 with the legendary 9P manual-winding movement, followed in 1960 by the 12P, which was then the world’s thinnest automatic calibre. Since that time, the maison has continuously refined its expertise, pushing the limits of mechanical artistry through the Altiplano collection.

After releasing its thinnest tourbillon watch, Piaget now welcomes new interpretations of two icons, the Altiplano 910P and the Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon, both dressed in khaki green with yellow gold accents.

Altiplano 910P

The Altiplano 910P is housed in a 41mm case crafted from 18K yellow gold, with a remarkable thickness of just 4.3mm. Its architecture makes clever use of the caseback as the movement’s mainplate, a solution that ensures rigidity while minimizing height. 

The entire movement is coated in khaki green, and time is read from an off-centred display with yellow gold hands. Inside beats the automatic calibre 910P, equipped with a peripheral rotor to preserve thinness. It runs at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and provides up to 50 hours of power reserve. The watch is paired with a green alligator leather strap, and pricing remains on request.

Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon

The Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon comes in a 41.5mm case measuring just 2mm in thickness, identical to its predecessor, and crafted from cobalt alloy, a material chosen for its stiffness and ability to withstand such extreme proportions. As with the 910P, the caseback doubles as the movement’s mainplate. 

The openworked dial is finished in khaki green with delicate gold accents. At 10 o’clock, the one-minute flying tourbillon balances visually with the exposed barrel at the bottom. Powering the watch is the hand-wound calibre 970P-UC, which beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers up to 35 hours of power reserve. 

This edition is offered on a green textured strap. Unlike previous versions, it is available through Piaget’s Infinitely Personal program, giving clients the opportunity to take part in the creation of their own unique watch. Pricing, once again, is upon request.
