Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

A colorful gemstone dial celebrating the bold spirit of Pop Art
During the 1960s and 1970s, Piaget became a symbol of luxury, celebrated for its colorful stone dials and daring creations that captivated the international jet set and the New York art scene. Among those drawn to its brilliance was the American visual artist Andy Warhol, who is also known as the king of Pop Art.
In 2024, Piaget formalized its connection to the artist by partnering with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, officially reviving the “Andy Warhol Watch” name. This partnership continues in 2025 with the introduction of the Andy Warhol “Collage” Limited Edition, a piece that reflects both Piaget’s craftsmanship and Warhol’s playful sense of abstraction.
The watch features a cushion-shaped stepped case crafted in 18K yellow gold, a precious metal directly referencing the artist’s own 1973 Piaget watch. Measuring 45 mm in width, 43 mm in length and 8.08 mm in thickness. Its polished and stepped architecture captures the essence of Piaget’s vintage Black Tie designs while evoking the aesthetic of Warhol’s creative era.
The solid yellow gold caseback is secured with eight screws and adorned with a vertical satin finish. It bears an engraving inspired by Warhol’s 1986 Polaroid collage self-portrait, accompanied by the Piaget logo and Warhol’s signature. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters.
The marquetry dial is made from black onyx, yellow Namibian serpentine, pink opal, and green chrysoprase. Each stone is meticulously shaped, cut, and assembled by hand to form an abstract composition inspired by Warhol’s collage artwork. The result is a colorful mosaic that captures the artist’s distinctive visuals, with no two dials exactly alike. The dial features polished and faceted dauphine hands.

Inside the watch beats the in-house calibre 501P1, a slim automatic movement derived from Piaget’s ultra-thin 430P. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and offers a 40-hour power reserve. The movement, though hidden behind the engraved caseback, is beautifully finished with circular Côtes de Genève and perlage.
The watch is paired with a dark green alligator leather strap secured by an 18K yellow gold ardillon buckle. The watch is limited to 50 pieces, and is priced at CHF 67,000 which is equivalent to AED 289,000.
