A beautiful release that captures the essence of autumn in the Alps
Oris has guided its modern identity with its philosophy of “Change for the Better,” placing sustainability and environmental responsibility at the core of its creations. From partnerships with the Billion Oyster Project to collaborations with the Reef Restoration Foundation and others, Oris continues to redefine what it means to create a watch that truly gives back.
Its latest collaboration rekindles a bond first formed in 2022 with Cervo Volante, a Swiss company that transforms sustainably sourced deer hides into premium leather accessories. Together, they present the new Oris x Cervo Volante 40mm Big Crown Pointer Date.
The watch features a 40 mm stainless-steel case built from multiple pieces and measuring 12.2 mm in thickness. It combines polished and brushed surfaces and maintains a water resistance of 50 meters, making it suitable for daily wear.
Capturing the essence of autumn in the Alps, the dial showcases a rich burnt maple gradient that transitions from deep brown to amber tones. The printed Arabic numerals and Super-LumiNova-coated hands ensure clarity and warmth in all lighting conditions. A forest-green-tipped pointer-date hand adds a subtle, nature-inspired detail that ties perfectly with the earthy tones of the strap. The dial includes hands for hours, minutes, and seconds, along with Oris’s signature pointer-date function, offering a practical yet distinctive way to read the date.
Inside beats the Oris Calibre 754, a Sellita SW200-based automatic movement known for its reliability. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 41 hours.

The collaboration comes to life through the mahogany-brown strap crafted from sustainably sourced deer leather by Cervo Volante. Each strap bears natural markings that make every piece unique, and the quick strap-change system ensures flexibility and ease of wear. The watch also arrives with a matching Cervo Volante leather travel pouch. This model joins the permanent collection and is priced at USD 2,600 (approximately AED 9,550).
