A new green hue elevates the brand’s chronograph collection
For over a century, Oris has stayed true to its independent spirit, crafting mechanical watches from its home in Hölstein, Switzerland. But it was in 1965 that the brand made waves in the diving world, launching its first purpose-built diver’s watch. In 2015, that very model was revived with modern specifications, paving the way for the now well-known Divers Sixty-Five collection. This year, Oris adds a fresh hue to the line with the Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph in Ocean Green.
Housed in a multi-piece stainless steel case, the watch measures 40mm in diameter, 15.4mm in thickness, and spans 48mm lug-to-lug. The unidirectional bezel features a dark green aluminium insert, evoking the deep tones of ocean waters also the forested slopes near Oris’ Hölstein workshop. A domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the fluted screw-in crown and pump-style chronograph pushers reinforce the classic design. The solid stainless steel caseback is screwed down, and the watch offers a water resistance of 100 meters.

The sunray silver-grey dial features dark green subdials for the small seconds and 30-minute chronograph. Applied indices and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova for visibility in low light, and a shield-shaped index marks 12 o’clock.
Inside beats the Oris Calibre 771, an automatic chronograph movement based on the Sellita SW510. It runs at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 62 hours. Buyers can choose between a black Cervo Volante deer leather strap with a stainless steel pin buckle or a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp.
This model joins the permanent collection and is priced at CHF 4,000 (approximately AED 18,500) on the leather strap, or CHF 4,200 (approximately AED 19,500) on the stainless steel bracelet.
