Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A classical small-seconds release with three elegant hues
Since its establishment in 1951, Orient Star has remained committed almost exclusively to mechanical watchmaking, developing and manufacturing its own calibres at a time when many competitors at similar price points rely on outsourced movements. This long-term investment in in-house movements has shaped not only the technical profile of Orient Star watches, but also their design logic.

One of the brand’s most well-known releases is the Classic Collection M45. Conceived as a platform that favours traditional case proportions and symmetrical dial architecture, the collection has long drawn inspiration from celestial themes. The M45 designation refers to the Pleiades star cluster. Following the introduction of the M45 F8 Moon Phase, the brand now releases the M45 F7 Small Second, offering a more measured refinement that simplifies the overall display.
The case measures 39 mm in diameter and 11.7 mm in thickness. It is crafted from SUS316L stainless steel, a low-carbon, corrosion-resistant alloy widely used in watchmaking for its durability, skin safety, and ability to hold finely executed brushed and polished finishes, making it well suited for everyday wear. The case is fitted with an exhibition caseback, providing a clear view of the movement inside. Water resistance is rated at 30 metres.

The dial is offered in three distinct tones. The limited edition features a restrained grey finish, while the regular production models are presented in green and ivory. Across all versions, the dial is treated with a fine sandblasted texture and features leaf-shaped hour and minute hands moving across Roman numeral indices, complemented by a railway-style minute track. At 6 o’clock sits the small seconds subdial, and you can spot the power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the calibre F7H44, an automatic movement developed and manufactured in-house by Orient Star. Operating at 21,600 vph (3 Hz), it delivers a power reserve of 50 hours. The watch is paired with a leather strap, secured by a deployant clasp with a push-button release.

The grey-dial version is produced as a limited edition of 500 pieces to commemorate the brand’s 75th anniversary. The green and ivory dial models join the permanent collection. Pricing is set at EUR 950, approximately AED 4,120, for the non-limited versions, while the limited edition is priced at EUR 1,050, approximately AED 4,550.
