Two GMT diving watches with beautiful dials
Founded with the mission to bring dependable, stylish tool watches to enthusiasts at accessible prices, Nodus has carved out a name for itself among independent watchmakers. Assembled in Los Angeles and powered by reliable Japanese movements, its timepieces offer serious specs paired with a design ethos rooted in adventure and versatility.
The Sector Series is one of the brand’s most successful lines, a canvas for multiple tool watch styles, ranging from pilot and dive watches to GMT and field pieces. Inspired by historical “sector dials” known for their functional segmentation, the collection is unified by an adaptable case and beautifully executed dial, designed to evolve with each new variation. This year, the brand expands the collection with the Sector Deep Pioneer, a rugged dive-GMT hybrid that brings new travel and navigation functionality to the table.
The watch features a compact 38mm stainless steel case topped with an oversized 42mm unidirectional bezel. At 13.6mm thick with a 47mm lug-to-lug, it offers a well-balanced wrist presence. The bezel not only protects the crown but also features an integrated compass. The watch delivers an impressive 500 meters of water resistance, aided by a screw-down crown and solid steel caseback.

Available in two variants, Forge (black with red accents) and Admiral (blue with light blue accents), the dial is packed with functionality. At its core is a 24-hour GMT scale, paired with a partially skeletonized GMT hand for tracking a second time zone. Around the periphery, a day/night indicator adds practical context, while a date window sits cleanly at 6 o’clock. Every detail, from the hands to the applied indices and compass bezel, is treated with BGW9 Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent legibility even in the darkest conditions.
Powering the watch is the automatic TMI NH34 caliber, produced by Time Module Inc., a member of the Seiko Group. This movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz) and offers a 41-hour power reserve. It’s a caller-style GMT, meaning the GMT hand adjusts independently of the local hour hand.

The watch is paired with a stainless steel bracelet featuring quick-release spring bars and an on-the-fly adjustment clasp, allowing wearers to fine-tune the fit without tools. The Sector Deep Pioneer joins the permanent collection, priced at $625, approximately AED 2,490.
