Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

A modern interpretation of a dive watch with a GMT complication
Ming’s journey into dive watches began with the 18.01 Abyss Concept in 2019, followed by the 18.01 H41 Titanium, and later the 37.09 Bluefin, a GPHG-winning model that marked the evolution of the brand’s 37 Series. Continuing this progression, Ming now introduces the 37.11 Odyssey, a timepiece that unites the durability of a diver with the versatility of a GMT, featuring lightweight titanium construction and a distinctly Ming aesthetic.
The watch is housed in a Grade 2 titanium case measuring 38 mm in diameter and 12.6 mm in thickness, with a total head weight of just 41.9 grams. Two crowns sit on the right side: the upper crown at 2 o’clock is screw-down with an unlocked warning indicator, managing time-setting and winding, while the lower crown at 4 o’clock controls the internal rotating sapphire dial. Both crowns feature luminous accents for enhanced visibility in low light. A domed sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating protects the dial, mirrored by a sapphire display back. The watch offers 300 meters of water resistance.

The smoked sapphire dial reveals subtle hints of the movement beneath and features a bi-directional 24-hour rotating bezel for tracking an additional time zone. The markings on this inner bezel are luminous and color-coded, with blue representing daytime hours and orange representing nighttime hours. MING’s Polar White luminous hour indices are laser-cut into the top crystal, while the openworked hour hand and gradient luminous treatment add depth and legibility. The GMT hand stands out with its white luminous “space shuttle” tip.

Inside the watch beats the Sellita for MING SW330.M2 automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offeringhttps://waqt.com/storage/post/large/8Jj410ZnDFLSoK6kPOMZMtyBrI1iyWD99UYqW86Z.jpg a 50-hour power reserve. The anthracite skeletonized mainplate, bridges, and rotor are visible through the sapphire caseback.

The 37.11 Odyssey is available in three configurations: a slate FKM rubber strap with titanium buckle priced at CHF 4,950 (approximately AED 22,700), a Grade 2 titanium Universal Bracelet priced at CHF 5,500 (approximately AED 25,200), and a Grade 5 titanium Polymesh bracelet priced at CHF 5,950 (approximately AED 27,250).
