Expanding the Multifort collection with a bold black chronograph
Mido has a strong focus on functional design, mechanical reliability, and long-lasting durability. The brand is known for producing robust automatic watches that combine technical performance with accessible Swiss watchmaking. The new Multifort TV Chronograph builds on this foundation by adding a chronograph to the distinctive TV-shaped case design that has become a signature of the modern Multifort line.
The watch features a stainless steel case with black PVD coating, measuring 42 mm in diameter and 41.2 mm in width, with a lug-to-lug length of 50.8 mm. The construction is finished with a mix of satin-brushed and polished surfaces. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial, and the chronograph pushers are positioned on the case flanks for easy operation. The caseback is transparent and secured with a screw-down construction, and it is engraved with the serial number. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres.

The dial features a grey-to-black gradient finish with a pronounced horizontal brushed texture. It is equipped with three chronograph counters for 60 seconds, 30 minutes, and 12 hours. A large central chronograph seconds hand ensures precise time measurement. The hour and minute hands are flat, diamond-cut, and finished in black, filled with beige Super-LumiNova for visibility in low light. A tachymeter scale is positioned on the flange, and a discreet date window is located at 4:30.

Powering the watch is the Caliber 60, an automatic Swiss mechanical movement based on the ETA A05.231 architecture. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of up to 60 hours.

The watch is delivered with an integrated stainless steel bracelet with black PVD coating and polished central links, secured with a folding clasp. It also comes with a second option, which is a beige leather strap with a patina-style finish and black stitching, fitted with a black PVD stainless steel pin buckle. The price is CHF 2,420, which is approximately AED 11,100.
