Expanding the Multifort 8 One Crown collection with a two-tone execution
The Multifort has evolved while remaining a platform where robustness, legibility, and mechanical reliability take precedence, with design updates introduced with restraint. Following the release of the Multifort 8 One Crown earlier this year, Mido now expands the line with the introduction of a two-tone execution.

The case is crafted from stainless steel and finished with a combination of satin brushing and polished accents. An octagonal bezel with a rose gold-coloured PVD treatment introduces the two-tone theme and gives the watch a warmer visual character. The case measures 40 mm in diameter with a lug-to-lug distance of 44.86 mm. A screw-down caseback fitted with a sapphire crystal offers a clear view of the movement inside, while water resistance is rated at 100 metres.

The dial is rendered in matte black and decorated with horizontal lines that have long defined the Multifort aesthetic. Time is indicated by rose gold-coloured hands and applied indices. Both are faceted and treated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring consistent legibility in low-light conditions. A white minute track frames the dial, and a date display is positioned at 3 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the automatic Mido Caliber 80. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of up to 80 hours. The movement is equipped with a Nivachron balance spring, enhancing resistance to magnetism and everyday shocks.

The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet that mirrors the case’s two-tone approach. Satin-finished steel outer links are paired with rose gold-coloured PVD-treated central links. A folding clasp with push-buttons and a quick-change system adds practicality and ease of wear.

This model joins the permanent collection and is priced at CHF 960, approximately AED 4,500.
