The Dutch brand’s Manhattan collection now offers a larger size and new, stunning dials
Maen is a young and ambitious Dutch brand that delivers good quality at a reasonable price. One of its standout achievements is the Manhattan 37, a flagship model that has become a cornerstone of the brand's identity and served as the base for subsequent releases, such as the Manhattan Project. Building on this success, Maen is launching the Manhattan 40, a larger iteration of its predecessor that retains the same refined features while offering broader appeal. It is available in various dial configurations, both with and without a date.

The watch is housed in a 316L stainless steel case with a slim and elegant profile, measuring just 9.6mm in thickness. Its design is highlighted by a vertically elongated octagonal bezel that frames the sapphire crystal, enhanced with an anti-reflective coating for optimal clarity. The case is completed with a stainless steel screw-in case back fitted with a sapphire crystal, providing a view of the watch's inner workings.

The dials are available in two options, Midnight Blue or Copper (Salmon), both adorned with a beautiful Côtes de Genève finish. The hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent readability in low-light conditions. Additionally, a Green Jade Stone dial variant without a date is offered as part of the brand's pre-order campaign.
The watch is powered by the Sellita SW200 movement, which operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), and offers 38 hours of power reserve. It comes with an integrated stainless steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp.

This is the standard price; however, at the time of this article's publication, a discounted pre-order price is available. The Green Jade Stone dial variant, on the other hand, is priced at €999, approximately AED 3,850, with no discount.
