The GMT Watch with a Titanium Case and a Ceramic Bezel
Longines first introduced the Zulu Time editions in 2022 as a sub-collection of the renowned Spirit line. This series, available in 39 mm and 42 mm sizes, now welcomes a new edition featuring a titanium case for the first time in the Zulu editions specifically in the smaller 39 mm size. Longines previously introduced a titanium case in the Spirit collection with the Spirit Flyback in Titanium, launched last year.

Adding to its appeal, Longines has incorporated a ceramic bezel—a rarity in itself, as most ceramic bezels are glossy, while matte versions are uncommon. Uniquely, Longines has combined both textures to elegantly distinguish between day and night.

The new model features a 39 mm diameter case, 13.50 mm thick, crafted from Grade 5 titanium. The case surfaces are primarily satin-brushed, with polished accents that Adds a striking contrast to the dark color of the case. A screw-in crown ensures water resistance up to 100 meters.
The case is fitted with a bidirectional bezel, showcasing a ceramic insert with a 24-hour scale split into two shades—matte black and polished black—to distinguish between day and night hours.

The solid caseback is secured with six screws and is engraved with a stylized winged hourglass and, in the background, a globe representing the Longines Spirit collection.

The matte black dial retains the signature architecture of the Spirit collection, featuring applied gilt indices and Arabic numerals. A white printed minute track encircles the dial, and a date aperture at 6 o'clock complements the dial's black hue. The brand’s winged hourglass logo sits at the top, accompanied by five stars symbolizing its chronometric precision.
The matte black GMT hand stands out with its arrow tip in the same red as the 'Zulu Time' inscription on the dial. This 24-hour hand, in combination with the bidirectional rotating bezel, allows for tracking multiple time zones.
For enhanced legibility in low-light conditions, the numerals, all four hands, and the bezel's arrow at 12 o'clock are coated with Super-LumiNova, glowing blue in the dark.

The Spirit Zulu Time Titanium is powered by the Longines L844.4 caliber, and is chronometer-certified by the COSC. Featuring a silicon balance-spring that provide a magnetic resistance. This self-winding mechanical movement is operating at a frequency of 25,200 vph (3.5Hz) and boasting 72 hours of power reserve.

The watch comes with a three-link bracelet crafted from Grade 5 titanium and features a fast exchange system. It is secured to the wrist by a double folding clasp with security push buttons, priced at USD 4,275, which is equivalent to AED 15,700.
