Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
Honoring Moscow’s famed puppet theatre Sergey Obraztsov
Founded in 1961 and rooted in the legacy of Russian watchmaking, Raketa stands as one of the few fully independent watch brands in the market. From its base in Saint Petersburg, the brand designs and produces the watches and their movements entirely in-house, preserving Soviet-era mechanical traditions while embracing new cultural and artistic narratives, as seen in models like the Space Launcher First in Space and Big Zero Arabic.
This year, Raketa continues that journey with the launch of the Raketa Theatre, a special timepiece created in collaboration with the legendary Sergey Obraztsov Puppet Theatre in Moscow. A celebration of memory, storytelling, and craftsmanship, both horological and theatrical, the watch pays tribute to generations of performative artistry through a distinctly Russian lens.

The watch reinterprets the theatre’s iconic pediment clock, where animal figurines mark each hour, into a bold artistic dial. Each figure has been reimagined by Raketa’s design team with a contemporary flair, offering a colorful and symbolic display of time's passage. It’s not just a dial, it’s a stage, and every hour plays its part in the visual narrative.
The watch is housed in a stainless steel case measuring 39.5mm in diameter. Up front, a sapphire crystal ensures clarity and durability, while the caseback features mineral glass, offering a view of the decorated movement within. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters, and the crown is set with a synthetic ruby.
The dial features animal figures that animate each hour marker, while Super-LumiNova-coated hands ensure legibility in low light. The interplay of color, print, and geometry reflects the avant-garde character of Raketa’s design language.

Powering the watch is the automatic calibre 2615, developed entirely in Raketa’s Saint Petersburg factory. It operates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz) and offers a 40-hour power reserve. The movement features a bi-directional rotor with multicolor inscription, and a stop-seconds functionality when the crown is pulled out.

It comes paired with a leather strap featuring contrast stitching and a stainless steel buckle. Only 100 pieces of the Raketa Theatre will be produced, each individually numbered on the caseback, and priced at €3,000 (approximately AED 14,300).
