Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

A tribute to the 1931 original, and with a new guilloché dial pattern
The Reverso collection has been an enduring emblem of Jaeger-LeCoultre since its creation in 1931. Originally designed for British officers in India who sought a watch durable enough for polo, the Reverso introduced a clever solution: a swiveling case that protected the crystal during play. Over time, the Reverso evolved beyond its sporting roots, gracing the wrists of both men and women and earning its place as one of the most recognizable watch designs in history.
in its latest releases, the brand is launching the new Reverso Classic Monoface Small Seconds that retains the elegant geometry that made the original a design icon with a new dial pattern. The polished stainless steel case measures 40.1 mm by 24.4 mm, with a slim profile of 7.56 mm. Its proportions closely mirror the 1931 model, preserving the spirit of the original while offering a contemporary sense of refinement. The case features the signature swiveling mechanism and the blank metal caseback for which the Reverso is known.
The dial showcases a newly developed guilloché pattern inspired by the edges of a stack of coins. Both the central portion of the main dial and the small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock feature this intricate engraving, framed by Arabic numerals and a minute track.
Powering the watch is the hand-wound Calibre 822, crafted entirely in-house. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and provides a 42-hour power reserve.

The timepiece is paired with a black calfskin leather strap created by the celebrated Argentinian polo bootmaker Casa Fagliano. It joins the permanent collection at a price of USD 8,000, equivalent to AED 29,200.
