Introducing The New HYT S1 5N Gold Titanium Cigare Edition

HYT is a Swiss independent watch brand known for reinventing the way time is displayed through fluid mechanics as the brand pioneered a patented system where colored liquid moves through a glass capillary to indicate the passing hours. The S1 collection represents the brand’s return to permanent production, marking an important new chapter in its history. The foundations of the collection were laid in October 2024 with the launch of the S1 Titanium Japan Limited Edition, a highly exclusive pre launch of only 8 pieces that previewed the design language and technical direction of the line.

In early 2025, the collection began to expand through a series of releases. This year saw the announcement of the S1 5N Gold Titanium collaboration with artist Fally Ipupa, followed by three unique pieces to mark Seddiqi’s 75th Anniversary.

In its latest releases, the brand is launching the S1 5N Gold Titanium Cigare edition that expands the collection by introducing a lifestyle oriented collaboration with Hulecos, combining watchmaking with cigar culture in a bespoke collector’s set.

The case measures 45.30 mm in width, 46.30 mm in length, and 17.20 mm in thickness. It is crafted from titanium coated in black DLC and accented with 5N gold elements. It is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal treated with anti reflective coating and a matching 5N gold crown positioned between 2 and 3 o’clock.  The caseback features a sapphire crystal to allow us to view the structure of the watch. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters, making the watch suitable for daily wear while preserving its complex internal fluidic system.

The dial is constructed from brown and rhodium coated brass, inspired by the rich tones of premium cigar wrappers. It features applied 5N gold plated indices and contrasting white and red details. A signature red liquid flows through a borosilicate glass capillary tube across the dial, forming a retrograde hour display. 

The watch is equipped with the manufacture Calibre 501-CM. The movement is manual winding and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a power reserve of 72 hours. The watch is delivered on a brown alligator leather strap that echoes the tones of the dial. It also includes an additional black rubber strap. Both straps are secured with a black DLC coated titanium pin buckle. This model is limited to only 8 pieces, and is priced at CHF 78,000, approximately AED 353,800.
