Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

Adding a woven carbon composite variant to the Square Bang collection
Over the decades, Hublot has built its name on pushing boundaries, whether in material innovation, design, or movement architecture. The Swiss brand from Nyon has become an icon, fueled by its “Art of Fusion” philosophy, which merges tradition with cutting-edge creativity.
In 2022, Hublot introduced a bold new chapter: the Square Bang. This collection added a radical square silhouette to the Big Bang family, standing alongside the original round model and the tonneau-shaped Spirit of Big Bang. Now, Hublot expanded the collection with the Square Bang Tourbillon 4-Day Power Reserve.
Measuring 42mm in diameter and 13.2mm in thickness, the case is crafted from 3D carbon fiber, a material chosen for both its modern appearance and lightness. It is the first Square Bang to feature this woven carbon composite, structured with vertical and horizontal lines that emphasize its architectural form. The bezel, also in carbon, is anchored by six signature H-shaped titanium screws. The sapphire crystal caseback, treated with an anti-reflective coating, offers full visibility of the movement inside.
Hublot has made the most of the sapphire crystal dial, providing an unobstructed view of the skeletonized architecture, with each bridge shaped square or rectangular. A standout feature is the power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock, which displays the remaining days and hours. It is symmetrically paired with the winding mechanism at 3 o’clock, the large barrel at 12, and the tourbillon at 6.
Powering the watch is the MHUB6023, a manual-winding in-house movement developed specifically for the Square Bang. It beats at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and offers a 96-hour (4-day) power reserve. Notably, the tourbillon features a silicon escapement, enhancing resistance to magnetism and temperature fluctuations.
The watch is fitted with a black structured rubber strap featuring a textured square motif that echoes the geometry of the case. It is secured with a black ceramic and black-plated titanium deployant clasp. The Square Bang Tourbillon 4-Day Power Reserve is priced at CHF 95,000, approximately AED 423,000.
