Three new releases with classic racing-inspired hues
The American Classic collection has always been Hamilton’s bridge between past and present. Rather than treating heritage as a museum piece, the line looks at familiar forms through a practical lens, asking how a mid-century chronograph might feel if designed for today. The Chronograph H follows this idea closely, preserving the visual codes of late 1960s and early 1970s sports timing while adapting them to contemporary expectations of durability and comfort.

In its latest releases, Hamilton unveils three new versions that expand the model with hunter green, warm brown, and blue dials, each inspired by the tones commonly seen in motorsport in the 1960s and 1970s.

The case is crafted from stainless steel and measures 40 mm in diameter with a thickness of 14.35 mm. Its polished surfaces follow a straightforward, rounded profile, allowing the box-shaped sapphire crystal to stand out as a defining element. A solid stainless steel caseback ensures water resistance to 100 meters. The dial is offered in three distinct hues. The hunter green and warm brown versions feature a subtle gradient that darkens toward the edges, while the blue reference opts for an even tone. Hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, and the chronograph hands are finished in lacquer. The dial features applied indices, with a layout that organizes small seconds, and chronograph functions across two sub-dials.

Powering the watch is the H-51 hand-wound mechanical chronograph movement operating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with a power reserve of 60 hours. A Nivachron balance spring adds resistance to magnetic fields and temperature variations.

Each model is delivered on a perforated nubuck leather strap chosen to complement the dial, and an additional stainless steel mesh bracelet is included. The trio joins the permanent collection, and each is priced at CHF 1,995, approximately AED 9,200.
