Hamilton has been around for over a century, crafting watches that have made it Hollywood’s go-to watch brand. The brand’s latest collaboration with legendary game iconic Hideo Kojima and artist Yoji Shinkawa brings a collab we rarely see, the Hamilton American Classic Boulton Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition, a timepiece that makes an appearance in the upcoming video game Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, the sequel to Death Stranding, which is the first game from Kojima Productions following its split from Konami in 2015.

Before we get into the details, let’s talk about the game to understand the concept behind the watch. Set in a hauntingly dystopian future, it unfolds in a world forever changed by a mysterious event known as the Death Stranding. This catastrophe has torn the veil between the living and the dead, unleashing grotesque, otherworldly creatures into a desolate society struggling to survive, where the player controls Sam Bridges that is tasked with delivering supply cargo to various isolated cities.
As for the timepiece, it features a 36mm x 48mm titanium case coated in black PVD, giving it a modern and stealthy appearance. Its 13.7mm thickness makes it substantial enough to feel bold on the wrist. It offers 50 meters of water resistance and incorporates seven sapphire crystals, including the primary display and two sleek side columns. The caseback is custom-designed with the Death Stranding logo and features a unique engraved number on each piece.
What sets this watch apart is its dial design, a minimalist black face with grey indicators, punctuated by an orange lacquered seconds hand and an orange 12 o’clock marker. This interplay of dark and light colors is not merely aesthetic, it also pays tribute to the visual themes within the game.
The watch is powered by the automatic H-10 caliber, offering an 80-hour power reserve and operating at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). It also features a Nivachron balance spring for enhanced durability and resistance to magnetic fields. Essentially, it’s built to survive both in-game missions and real-world daily wear.

Continuing the stealthy theme, the bracelet features a three-row titanium construction with a black PVD sandblasted finish, secured by a butterfly clasp. The watch is limited to 2,000 pieces, and with a price of CHF 1,395, which is approximately AED 5,800. it lands in stores on June 26, 2025, coinciding with the game’s launch.
