The Austrian brand contemporary take on the regulator watch
The independent Austrian brand Habring² is renowned for its innovative designs and quality craftsmanship. Now, 20 years after its founding, the brand is celebrating this milestone with two new releases: the Oskar Collection, which we covered earlier, and a new regulator watch named "Josef," which we will be discussing in this article.
The watch comes in a 38.5mm cushion-shaped stainless steel case, elegantly designed with brushed and polished finishes that enhance its aesthetic appeal. Measuring 47mm from lug to lug and 10.3mm in thickness, housing a highly domed box-shaped sapphire crystal on the dial and a sapphire crystal on the case back.
The watch features a polished, lacquered metal dial adorned with a black-printed railway track on the edges. Time is displayed via three distinct sub-dials, each elegantly designed to reflect the watch's overall silhouette. The polished blued steel hands gracefully indicate the hours at the bottom of the dial, the seconds at the top, and the minutes with a central hand in the middle of the dial, while the power reserve indicator sits at 3 o’clock.
The watch is powered by the calibre A11GSP, a hand-wound manufacture movement by Habring². Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), it offers a 48-hour power reserve. Elaborately refined by hand, the movement showcases polished edges, decorative engravings, and perlage.
It comes with a brown nubuck leather strap and stainless steel pin buckle at price EUR 7,450 which is equivalent to AED 29,800
